About Me

Veggie Mom: I am a wife and mother from South Florida. We have four children, three teenagers and a toddler, all of which love eating meat. After much thought and research, I decided to give up eating meat and became a vegetarian and recently vegan. My husband, who was a devoted carnivore, was willing to take on a healtier way of eating. My children, on the other hand, are not so happy. I am determined to open their minds to foods other than hamburgers and hot dogs, and I hope to show them that healthier foods can be just as good, if not better!
